Getting to the Conference Venue

The conference will be held in the Marinus Ruppert Building of Utrecht University, located at Utrecht Science Park. The address is: Leuvenlaan 21, 3584 CE Utrecht, The Netherlands. More information about the Ruppert building can be found here. 

The best way to reach Utrecht Science park is by public transportation (you can take a tram or bus from the city center and stop at “Heidelberglaan”), the best way to plan your public transportation is using the website https://9292.nl/ or their app. Another good option is to come by bike! Opening keynote and welcome reception

The 2025 ESRA Local conference committee welcomes you to Utrecht with the Opening Keynote followed by a reception taking place at the City Theater in the center of Utrecht (Stadsschouwburg Utrecht). The address is: Lucasbolwerk 24, 3512 EJ Utrecht, The Netherlands. The City Theater is accessible by bus, or you can walk there in about 20 minutes from Utrecht Central Station. More information about accessibility can be found here. You are welcome on Monday July 14 from 17:00 and the keynote starts at 17:30, followed by drinks and bites after.

Conference dinner

The 2025 ESRA Conference Dinner takes place in the Geertekerk on Thursday July 17. The address is Geertekerkhof 23, 3511 XC Utrecht, The Netherlands. The dinner starts at 19:00.
