ESRA 2027 Short Courses

The preparations for the 12th European Survey Research Association (ESRA) conference and the 80th World Association of Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) conference are well underway. The conferences will take place concurrently from 19 to 23 July 2027 in Paris, France.

We invite you to submit a brief proposal for a short course, which, if selected, will be delivered in person during the conferences in Paris. Short course topics should fall within the scope of ESRA’s and/or WAPOR’s research interests. All short courses will be three hours long and should ideally include interactive component(s), where appropriate. Short courses will be held on Monday, 19 July 2027 (tentatively, in two parallel sessions: morning session 09:00-12:00 and afternoon session 13:00-16:00).

For all short course instructors, the conference registration fee will be waived. In addition, instructors will receive 500 euros per course, plus an additional 25 euros per participant if the number of participants exceeds 20. If you propose to have more than one instructor, the total compensation per course will remain the same but will be shared among the instructors. 

Members of the ESRA and WAPOR boards will review the proposals. The final selection of short courses will be based on relevance of the topics and diversity of instructors.
