ESRA 2027 Conference

ESRA hosts its main conference every two years to bring together applied survey researchers, methodologists, and statisticians from Europe and beyond. The conference showcases the latest survey research and offers a number of professional development opportunities, including short courses and awards. It is traditionally hosted in university buildings to keep registration fees to a minimum. ESRA aims to be as inclusive as possible, promoting in particular the participation of doctoral students and other early-career researchers.

The 12th Conference of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) will take place from 19th to 23rd July 2027. The conference will take place jointly with WAPOR in Paris, France. This joint event will bring together two major communities for a fantastic week of exchange, innovation, and collaboration in one of Europe’s most vibrant academic centres.

The Local Organising Committee is formed through a consortium of leading French research institutions, combining expertise and resources across the quantitative social sciences. It includes Progedo (CNRS) – the national research infrastructure for quantitative social sciences, INED – the French Institute for Demographic Research and CDSP (Sciences Po) – the Center for Socio-Political Data. The Conference will be hosted by Campus Condorcet – one of Europe’s premier research campuses for SSH.
