Hotel and Travel

Zagreb is the capital and the largest city of Croatia.  It has a rich history dating from the Roman times, and is an increasingly popular European tourist destination.  It offers varied architecture, a wide variety of fascinating museums, outdoor cafés and parks, culture, arts, music, and gastronomy. We think it will make a great location for ESRA 2019!

Further information about visiting Zagreb is available here:

Recommendations for hotels will follow.

All ESRA attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and obtaining necessary travel documents (e.g., visas).

Croatia is a member of the European Union.  Citizens of EU countries, the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand do not need visas to visit Croatia. Visitors can visit Croatia for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. For other countries, please check the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs‘ website for visa requirements for Croatia. If you do need a visa, please contact the Croatian Embassy in your country for more information.
